Introducing CenTrak Engage: Healthcare Consulting & Training

CenTrak has launched CenTrak Engage, a comprehensive healthcare consulting and training program that uses a proprietary three-phase framework to help healthcare systems optimize real-time location technologies for improved asset management, staff workflows, patient throughput, and cost reduction, leveraging expert consulting, workflow redesign, and change management tailored to each facility’s unique needs.

CenTrak has announced the launch of CenTrak Engage, a new suite of expert-led consulting and training services designed for healthcare systems. CenTrak Engage offers a tailored, multi-tiered assessment and transformation program to help healthcare facilities maximize real-time technologies and drive meaningful change across their organizations. The program aims to enhance asset management, optimize staff workflows, and improve patient throughput, all while increasing productivity and reducing operating costs through the strategic use of Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS).

Following the 2021 acquisition of Infinite Leap, CenTrak expanded its expertise by incorporating experienced location technology consultants and comprehensive on-site support services. This positions CenTrak to address resource and staffing challenges in healthcare by offering a robust managed services program that delivers substantial value and return on investment.

Scott Hondros, CenTrak’s vice president of professional services, emphasized the company's evolution from a technology vendor to an end-to-end strategic solutions provider. He highlighted the importance of a personalized approach that combines expert consulting and workflow redesign, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each facility. This methodology helps healthcare leaders fully leverage location services while promoting user adoption and effective change management.

CenTrak Engage Framework

CenTrak Engage employs a proprietary, three-phased framework for change management:

  • Assess: In this initial stage, CenTrak’s clinical consultants, hospital operations experts, and business analysts conduct use case assessments and develop a strategic roadmap, deployment plan, operational model, and budget summary.

  • Readiness: Consultants ensure staff readiness to utilize location technologies by reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assisting with process redesign in a data-driven, patient-focused manner. This phase also includes creating communication plans, developing training tools, and monitoring post-go live activities to identify process gaps and additional training needs.

  • Transformation: Consultants help derive actionable intelligence from the location system to transform the healthcare enterprise. This includes implementing process changes, sending notifications about system anomalies for proactive action, and monitoring ongoing metrics for success. The process also involves documenting ROI and value measurements and developing management reports.

The launch of CenTrak Engage marks a significant milestone in the company’s evolution from a provider of IoT devices to a strategic technology and solutions partner. CenTrak continues to expand its offerings to address ongoing challenges in the healthcare industry and strengthen its position in the global market.

CenTrak will present additional insights on Engage services during an upcoming webinar led by the company’s vice president of professional services.
