CenTrak Receives Top 2016 KLAS Rating for Real-Time Location Systems
In the 2016 KLAS Real-Time Location Systems report, CenTrak was recognized as the top-rated RTLS hardware vendor, receiving the highest Overall Performance Score for its scalable Clinical-Grade Locating™ platform that supports all seven surveyed use cases—including asset tracking, staff locating, and patient flow management—while also earning the highest rating for proactive service and praised for its integration capabilities with nurse call systems and EMRs.
Highest Overall Performance Score validates CenTrak as the industry’s most scalable RTLS technology
(Newtown, PA– July 7, 2016) – CenTrak, a provider of enterprise location services for healthcare, announced that it received the highest Overall Performance Score of all RTLS vendors and is named the top-rated RTLS hardware vendor by KLAS in its recent performance report, “Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) 2016.” This is KLAS' first RTLS-specific report in five years.
Vetting a total of six RTLS hardware-only vendors, KLAS determined CenTrak to be the most scalable RTLS provider, based on the number of use cases deployed per customer. CenTrak was one of the few RTLS vendors to have validated customer use in all seven of the use cases surveyed: asset tracking, asset management, temperature monitoring, staff locating, hand hygiene compliance, patient flow/tracking, and bed/capacity management. Additionally, CenTrak was highly rated for RTLS accuracy, a key attribute of CenTrak’s Clinical-Grade Locating™ platform which enables rapid location updates and sub-room location segmentation.
CenTrak also received the highest rating for Overall Proactive Service. The report includes many satisfied customer comments regarding CenTrak’s scalability and integration – particularly with various nurse call systems and EMRs – as well as usability, accuracy, and CenTrak’s willingness to partner with providers to ensure that the hardware setup and configuration meet their needs. One CenTrak customer stated, “Other companies try to sell providers a solution that doesn’t necessarily fit them, and they are trying to push the method of one size fits all. Providers aren’t able to innovate or drive changes with those vendors. So our main driver in going with CenTrak was that they had the flexibility and integration capabilities already available in its products.”
Ari Naim, president and CEO of CenTrak, commented, “We are honored to be recognized by KLAS for top-ratings from healthcare providers in key performance areas. The high acclaim presented in this report further illustrates CenTrak’s impact on the industry. We will continue to work with our partners and customers to provide scalable solutions and identify cost-effective means to gather high-quality and reliable location data to lower healthcare costs and increase patient satisfaction.”
