CenTrak Opens California Office
CenTrak has opened a new office in Menlo Park, California to support its expanding Western US healthcare market, featuring a fully operational showroom demonstrating its Hybrid Gen2IRTM and Active-RFID RTLS technologies, reflecting the company's rapid growth with over 300,000 deployed tags and positioning it as a leader in healthcare RTLS by delivering highly accurate, easy-to-install, and affordable location solutions that integrate with hospital systems to enhance workflow and patient care.
CenTrak’s rapid growth and focus on the Western US market has led to the opening of a new office in Menlo Park, CA. This expansion aims to support CenTrak's growing list of west coast healthcare partners and end users.
According to Dr. Ari Naim, CEO and Founder of CenTrak, the new office provides a regional facility to better serve customers on the West Coast. It will serve as a destination for meetings with partners, customers, and prospects, and will also function as a showroom for CenTrak's latest technology. The office features a fully functioning deployment of the Hybrid Gen2IRTM and Active-RFID RTLS in over fifty rooms, allowing for demonstrations of the technology in use.
In 2011, CenTrak experienced significant growth, with the number of installations reaching into the hundreds. Over the past four years, more than 300,000 tags have been deployed, including tens of thousands of active patient, staff, and temperature tags. This growth has positioned CenTrak as a leader in the healthcare RTLS industry.
Dr. Naim noted that the company is experiencing significant momentum in the market, driven by exceeding customer expectations in terms of system accuracy, speed, ease of installation and maintenance, and affordability. This has resulted in positive feedback, new referrals, and more opportunities for the company.
Wil Lukens, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development for CenTrak, commented on the rapidly evolving healthcare RTLS market. He noted that hospitals are moving beyond basic tracking projects to seek real value from integrating certainty-based room- and bed-level location data with traditional Hospital Information Systems and new RTLS workflow applications. CenTrak’s patented Gen2IRTM technology positions the company to leverage the trend of location-enabling applications that hospitals already use.
